Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of hopvest.com and the Hopvest resume tailoring service (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by CRO APP ("Hopvest", "we", "us", or "our"), a sole proprietorship registered in India, with its principal place of business at 10, Juhllah Road 4th G Cross, Kammanahalli, Bengaluru, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka, 560043.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

The Service

Hopvest helps you reshape your existing resume to fit a job description, and lets you practice with AI mock interviews. The Service uses automated and AI systems to suggest edits and to highlight what to strengthen. It is designed to work from the experience you already have.

Hopvest is a practice and resume-tailoring tool. It is not a job placement, recruitment, staffing, or hiring service, and buying a mock interview does not entitle you to any job, interview, or shortlisting. Any results depend on your own effort and on the decisions of employers.

Payments

Hopvest is free to use, including a limited number of free mini mock interviews. A full mock interview is sold individually as a one-time purchase at the price shown on the pricing page, inclusive of GST, with no auto-renew, so no recurring charge can occur. Refunds are governed by our cancellation and refunds policy.

Buying a mock interview needs an account, because the mock interview you buy is credited to your account. Sign in before you buy.

Your bank statement may show the registered business name of the operator rather than "Hopvest", because that description is set by the banks and not by us.

Communications

By creating an account you agree that we may send you service related and, if you opt in, re-engagement emails as described in our Privacy Policy. You can unsubscribe from any of these emails at any time using the link in the email or your dashboard settings.

Accounts

You can use the core Service without an account. If you sign in with Google, you are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized use.

Your content

You keep all rights to the resume text, job descriptions, and other content you provide ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content in order to operate, secure, and improve the Service, including sending it to our AI processing provider to generate your result.

You represent that Your Content is accurate, that you have the right to provide it, and that it does not infringe the rights of others.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to create resumes with false credentials, fabricated employment history, or invented certifications.
• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or fraudulent purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Upload malware or violate the rights, privacy, or safety of others.

We may suspend or end access for anyone who misuses the Service.

AI output and no guarantee of results

The Service uses AI, which can make mistakes or produce inaccurate text. You are responsible for reviewing your tailored resume for accuracy and truthfulness before you use or submit it anywhere.

The Service does not guarantee any job, interview, shortlisting, or other outcome, and it is not professional career, legal, financial, or other advice.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, and other content we provide (but not Your Content), belongs to Hopvest or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law.

Third party services

The Service relies on third parties such as Google and Supabase, and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for third party services or their content, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hopvest and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or one thousand Indian rupees.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hopvest and its team from any claims, damages, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use or misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, or as needed to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification, will survive.

Availability and changes

We provide the Service on a best effort basis and may limit, change, or suspend features to manage costs or for maintenance. We may also update these Terms. We will post changes on this page and update the date above. If you continue to use the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Subject to any rights you have under the law of your own country, the courts located in India will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or the Service.
