Is there a catch when I go to download?

No. The builder never asks for a card, at any step, so there is no trial to expire and nothing you have to remember to cancel. Your download is free, with no watermark and no time limit. Downloading needs an account, and the account is free.

Do I need to sign up before I start?

No. Pick a design, bring in your old resume, write every line and watch your readiness score move, all without an account. The account is asked for once, at the download step: Google or an email link, and you land back on the same resume. You can also save a copy to your account, so you can come back to it later.

Are the resumes ATS-friendly?

They can be, and each design in the gallery above tells you which. Every card carries its own parse label and the reason behind it, so you can take a clean single-column layout that reads cleanly, or a styled one with your eyes open. Inside the editor, the readiness score flags parsing risks as you build.

Does it work for experienced roles, not just freshers?

Yes. It reads your seniority from your own titles and dates, and changes what it expects of the page. Past the junior years it plans for two pages rather than one, and the readiness check tells you to trim older roles once they start crowding out your recent work. What it will not do is rewrite your experience to sound more senior than it is.

Can I edit a resume I already have?

Yes. Autofill pulls your real content in one step: upload a PDF, DOCX or plain text file up to 5 MB, paste your LinkedIn profile or the PDF it exports, or give us your GitHub username. Then you polish it on the page. Nothing is added that you did not write.

What file formats can I download?

PDF for applying, and an editable Word (.docx) file for job portals that ask for one. Both keep the sections and the order you see on screen. The preview shows a single page while your download runs to as many pages as your resume needs, and your files use stock fonts rather than embedding one, so line breaks can fall a little differently.

Can I change the design after I start?

Yes, at any point. Switch the template, change the accent colour, pick a different typeface, tighten or open up the spacing, and turn a sidebar or a photo on or off. Your words come with you. You can also move sections into the order you want, or add a section of your own.

Does the writing help put words in my mouth?

No. It works only on the sentence you already wrote. It can tighten the wording or reorder it, and where a figure would carry weight it leaves a placeholder asking you for the number rather than choosing one. Every rephrase is then compared with your original, and if it has slipped in a number, a skill or a tool you never wrote, it is dropped and your own sentence stays.

Does it work for Indian job portals like Naukri?

Yes. Naukri's Resdex search has no wildcards, so a recruiter searching for Quality Assurance never sees a resume that only says QA. The builder checks your skills for that gap and names the exact spellings you are missing. If your location is in India it also raises the local conventions, like where to put your expected CTC and notice period, and how to treat the declaration line at the bottom. It works just as well for roles outside India.
